Cierra & Kassan

Our Story

Cierra Jaquay Pierce and Kassan Jerrod Samuel met in high-school. Kassan was always scared to speak to Cierra but, finally they began to talk as friends. During this time Prom was just around the corner. Kassan, knowingly a “shy guy” asked Cierra to be his prom date in front of the whole school, on a piece of cardboard with roses shaped as a heart. Cierra said, YES of course! After the prom proposal they decided to start dating. Soon after graduating high-school the couple attended Norfolk State University. 

The Proposal

The proposal was truly a surprise to Cierra. A small trip back home to Roanoke, VA turned into the most beautiful night anyone could dream of. It all started with Cierra being completely clueless and being invited to an event with her best friend. Cierra’s best friend walked her into the side of a hotel door where to her surprise she seen Kassan standing in a heart full of roses and giant balloons that read MARRY ME? Cierra was so stunned she didn’t even want to walk around the corner where she knew her closets family members were there watching. Cierra finally got the courage to walk to her soon to be husband, where he gave the most real thought out speech that Cierra heard none of because, she was so in shock! Kassan pulled out a gorgeous ring and asked her to be his wife. Cierra said, YES of course. 

Cierra and Kassan started off as friends then prom dates. Now, they are GETTING MARRIED! The couple would love to see everyone witness their love for one anther and finally say I DO with The Samuels.
